Reminds me of when I was a student observing (from the front as a guest instructor) and hearing the home instructor spend 3 hours telling stories at the beginning of he course. Looking out over the audience, it was obvious that learners were very anxious to get started with actual learning - you could read it in their facial expressions and body language. Too bad the instructor couldn't.
